The ITSPA (The Internet Telephony Services Providers’ Association – the UK’s trade association for the next generation communications industry) has launched an educational animated video on the subject of telecommunications cybercrime. The video ‘Telecommunications Cybercrime: The Five Ws’ provides an overview of the anatomy of a typical instance of telephony fraud and is intended to educate law enforcement and other stakeholders on the nature of this often-overlooked crime. The video explores the what, when, why, who and where of telecoms cybercrime.
